Yesterday I got an email from a fellow Skype marketing buddy of mine from the Warrior Forum by the name of Fuad Tolieb.

He is a great guy from the Netherlands and I loved what he had to say and thought that it would be good to pass on to my readers.

There are a few things you can do in life without any risks but trying to make money online or become active in Internet Marketing in general definitely has its risks..

Knowing these risks will put you on higher ground overlooking your competitors. Why? Not because risks should act as motivation to NOT take action, but because knowing risks can give you ideas on how to plan accordingly and prevent possible failures.

One of the risks in this game is to lose money by investing in opportunities, programs, coaching or resources. This is a risk that always comes true but to some strange people like me, it is welcome at all times because it will give us more insight on what does and doesn’t work.

So what do you need to avoid at all costs? The answer is.. Never spend money on anything if you’re not sure it will make you money!

A while ago, I tried to help a cousin out because he lost his job and needed money fast. I wrote him an email with the emphasis on 1 specific method he could implement as soon as he wanted and works like a charm.

What was this method?

Well, when people come online and try to make money, they forget that the local industry of an average city produces more profits than the entire internet!

What does this mean? It means that the most leads are out there in the offline world, not online!

So here’s what the method I gave to my cousin was based on; OFFLINE MEMBERSHIPS

More specifically, offline SPORTS memberships. Memberships people have at Golf Clubs, Fishing Clubs, Gyms, Fighting clubs and many more! This could easily be expanded to memberships outside the health and sports niche.

Those kind of clubs sometimes have thousands and thousands of members all making use of their membership and trying to achieve something but need help doing it.

So here’s what I told my cousin to do in steps:

1. Go to Clickbank and match an offer with a Sports Club that offers memberships

2. Apply as an affiliate and get your affiliate link

3. Buy a new domain name and cloak/mask your affiliate link so that your new domain redirects to your affiliate link

4. Copy and paste the sales letter of the CB offer, edit the sales letter by deleting the buy buttons and replace it with your cloacked affiliate link and then print it out. Also, try to bundle it so its easy to read for people. Then, try to make a couple of simple A4 print with a few bullet points and a call to action for people to check your affiliate link.

5. Check the yellow pages (he used the Dutch version) and make a list of all the clubs in your region or city that matches your offer.

6. Do NOT call them, visit them and try to ask for the manager or the person who has authority to make decisions.

7. Tell them you have a complimentary and zero risk opportunity for them to make more money and provide their members with value. Tell them you are an associate/affiliate to a successful online program teaching XYZ which most of their members would be interested in. Tell them that all they have to do is put the sales letter bundles somewhere in their club where people can see it and hang up the A4 flyers for people to see.

Then, whenever a member goes to that affiliate link (which a LOT of people will do) and buys the program, the club gets credited for the sale (you can give them half of your commissions but just mention the amount they will earn) and you will update them with stats every week and pay them with either checks, bank wires or Paypal payments.

Then its very important that you tell them they can decide how long they want the promo material to be displayed in their club. Once they start to earn money, they will make sure to keep it on display until they believe its no longer relevant.

8. Visit as many clubs as you can for all sorts of offers and niches. Keep persistent and maintain your relationships with them. By doing this, you can update the offers and afford to invest money into making the promo material more professional

My cousin did this and kept closing deals till he had around 63 clubs in multiple cities display his promo material. He made and still makes an above average income by doing that part time.

So, if you are tight on cash and need to make money fast than I HIGHLY suggest you implement the above steps. Its not hard, it just takes consistency and determination.

You can start tomorrow if you want to and start earning the same week, sky is the limit, no scratch that, space is the limit!

I hope that his email is some good food for thought but even more importantly, some good food for taking action!

Now this is not just inconvenient for the people that hang out in the Warrior Forum (WF), it is really costly for product owners and the affiliates that promote WSO products through Warrior Plus and other affiliate platforms.

Warrior Plus is the affiliate platform that affiliates use to promote a WSO, which tracks all of the sales and directs the money to the appropriate accounts.

But what if the WF servers go down after a lot of affiliates have already sent emails to their lists?  I’ll tell you what will and has happened in the past, a lot of lost money!

I was blown away when I got an email from the JV Zoo affiliate platform announcing that they have tackled this problem for the people using their system.  They have created a WSO backup system that will keep you from loosing all of the traffic and sales due to the WF going down.

JV Zoo’s system checks to see if the WF is up and running every few seconds and if their system is down it immediately switches to a backup sales page on JV Zoo’s forum.  The guys over at JV Zoo are really thinking!  Why didn’t the WF think of that?

Now as a product owner or an affiliate promoting products you no longer have to fear the WF servers going down because there is a workaround in place if you choose to use it.  It is such a great feature because it is hard enough to get people to email your promotion out and even more difficult to get them to email multiple times about the same offer.

Don’t get me wrong, you need persistence in order to get things done that you need to do but the right kind of diversification is key.  The reason is because success for everyone is different.  To some people success means monetary gains of abundance.  For others it means freedom from a job and having the independence to call their own shots.

For me IM success is diversification because my eggs are in many different baskets all producing income that gives me many choices.  Having the ability do decide what I want and have to do each day with the knowledge that if any one stream of income goes down there are other still producing.

You can have great success following just one way of making money by becoming extremely good at one thing but it leaves you vulnerable.  If something happens to that one income stream and you don’t have a way to recover quickly then you could have a catastrophic collapse in your business.  That is a sure fire way of losing everything that you have worked so hard to build.

If you don’t feel comfortable learning many different skills in order to diversify, you need to learn the really important skill of outsourcing.  This is something that you will have to learn in any event because you cannot grow without it; one person can only do so much.  When your company begins to grow, there will be many more menial tasks that will need to get done and an outsourcer is one of your best options during the early stages.

In summary, a lot of people will have their opinions as to what is the key to Internet Marketing success is for them.  For me the safest road to travel to success is diversification.

If you don’t know anything about the traditional celebration of March Madness, it is for the men’s NCAA college basketball tournament.

While I love basketball, the Warrior Forum celebrating their own version of March Madness is absolutely great for Internet Marketers!

For all of the month of March the owner of Warrior Plus, Mike Lantz, announced that all of the features are FREE!  That means that there will be absolutely no fees charged for listings upfront, backend costs or even transaction charges.

What this means is that you will only be charged for your Warrior Special Offer (WSO) listing of $40, and not the additional $20 plus transaction fees for Warrior Plus.  Not only that but if you are an affiliate through Warrior Plus you won’t be charged the monthly $4 fee.

There is even more to Mike’s announcement.  There will also be changes coming to the Warrior Plus affiliate platform.  Many of the changes are what are already available at JV Zoo.

Soon Warrior Plus will be able to split payments between sellers and affiliates automatically.  As it stands right now the system alternates payments; first to the seller and then to the affiliate.  This isn’t too good for the affiliate because if only one sale is made it goes to the seller and the affiliate gets nothing for his or her effort.

Another thing is the ability for the main system to issue refunds on your behalf from your PayPal account.  This is good because people requesting refunds can do so and it can be done in a timely manner, which helps lower complaints being lodged through PayPal.

That is just the tip of the iceberg.  There will be many more features that will make everyone’s life easier and they are coming soon.

I think that March Madness for the Warrior Forum is a great idea and I hope that Mike Lantz keeps it going for many years to come.

This is a common question and the answer in my opinion is a buyers list.  Don’t get me wrong.  You can and should build a prospect list; just don’t expect it to out perform your buyers list.

No matter what niche you decide to go into, you will always have about a fifteen times better chance at making more money with your buyers list than with your prospect list.  The reason is simple; the people on your buyers list have proven that they will take their credit cards out and spend money.

While I won’t be able to go into a long detailed method of how you can get a buyers list in this post, I will give you a brief outline.

The absolute easiest way that I have found to build a buyers list is to create a product.  Having your own product gives you a tremendous amount of leverage.  A lot of people think that having your own product is just to make more money but it can also serve as a conduit to a buyers list.

Once you have a product that you can sell, you then need to find someone with an email list that is compatible with the type of product that you’ve created.  Then you setup a joint venture (JV) with the person with the email list where they get 100% of the money from all of the sales and you get the buyers list.

You can find list owners all over the Internet.  You can just go to Google and search for top blogs within your niche and contact them through their contact form or do a whois search on who owns the domain name.

Another way to find list owners to JV with is to go on popular forums and get to know them.  In forums it is always a good idea to get to know the people on there with big lists first by thanking them for their contribution to the forum.  Don’t just spam them, get to know them and do something for them first before automatically asking them to mail for you.  It’s just common sense.

Probably the best thing that I can tell you when it comes to what list is best is that buyers are buyers and prospects are mostly browsing.  A buyers list of only 2,000 can easily outperform a prospect list of 10,000, just keep that in mind.

Most people like Facebook more than Twitter and that is pretty obvious by the amount of users that Facebook has.  I really like Twitter, not because I have made over 103,000 connections there but because it is a more casual experience.  If you are wondering why I call my Twitter followers “connections” it is because I don’t like calling people followers (I follow everyone back that follows me, i.e. “connections”).  Don’t get me wrong, there are people that are followers and people who are leaders.  I just don’t want to be the person that is the judge.  Each individual needs to make that determination for themselves.

Liking Twitter better than Facebook is not very popular with Internet Marketers because I have friends that make over six figures a month using Facebook marketing.  But I don’t care because I am not a Social Media Marketer, LOL!

I really like the new Twitter design change because it is now more like a social media site instead of just a tool that you use for mass texting.  They’ve just added a new look and they now allow you to see each full conversation via a new direct message (DM) window.  This really helps me because I used to track all of my DM’s and put them in a folder in case I needed to remember what someone said to me at a later time.  The new DM feature helps me out a lot and it is good thinking on Twitter’s part.  It really makes it feel like a more complete social media site.

This platform is similar to the one over at the Warrior Forum called Warrior Plus but it is free to use, while there is a monthly charge for Warrior Plus.

While Warrior Plus is the chosen affiliate platform that the Warrior Forum uses for Warrior Special Offers (WSO’s), JV Zoo’s platform has some other advantages other than just cost.

JV Zoo has PayPal instant adaptive payments that are simultaneous to both vendors and affiliates.  What this means is that both the vendor and affiliate will get paid their respective commissions instant and simultaneously.

Other affiliate marketing platforms like Warrior Plus alternate payments to affiliates when the split is 50/50.  That means that the affiliate will get paid on every other sale as opposed to getting paid on every sale.  If you only make one sale you get paid nothing or if you make three sales you only get paid for the middle/second sale.  Most affiliates would agree that is not so fair.

Another good feature that JV Zoo has is that you can be an affiliate or vendor direct from their site if you don’t have a website of your own.  You can even use them on the Warrior Forum as well.

The Warrior Forum has a feature that is called WSO of the Day (WSOTD).  If you get WSOTD the owner of Warrior Plus, Mike Lantz, will send out an email to their massive list announcing your product.  JV Zoo also has this feature as well.

To summarize, if you are looking for a good affiliate marketing platform to launch your product on, JV Zoo is definitely worth taking a look at from both the affiliate and vendor prospective.

I was inspired by a colleague that was just knocked down in a fight with PayPal.  They froze his account because they fear make money online offers; sighting that they are high risk.  He had just had major success with a Warrior Forum WSO (Warrior Special Offer) 6 figure launch.  Now that might not sound like much money when you consider big multi 7 figure launches by the gurus but you have to consider that the guru products usually cost $2,000.  My colleague did this monster launch with a product that only costs $17.  I thought about this video for him and anyone else that is in a knock down drag out fight with the things that happen in life.  Watch it and get inspired!

Another product was released last week on Clickbank that was shocking!  I know what you are saying, “no, Clickbank, shocking?”  Yes but it really isn’t the product that is shocking this time, it is the tactics that they used for the Quick Click Commissions launch.

This product is about using completely free traffic from Facebook to sell products as an affiliate of sites like Amazon, Clickbank, etc.  They also use a video with a pretty girl in it named Jessica to sell the product.  That really isn’t all that unusual if you have been following Clickbank launches for any length of time.  I mean you see lots of pretty girls used to sell things these days.

What I think is so unusual about this sales video and sales tactic is that you get multiple up skirt shots of Jessica if you watch the video all the way through.  Wow, I just couldn’t believe it!  They actually let her wear a dress so short that you fixate on it.  As a man you keep wondering if you are going to get that shot like in the movie Fatal Attraction.  Now it’s not quite as graphic as the movie but I was shocked.

Why am I talking about this?  The reason is because when you are a newbie you can’t seem to focus and that is the very thing that is killing you!  What I hope to do in this post is to make you see that you probably already have what you need in order to make money online.

The Internet moves quickly and a lot of things that worked a year ago wouldn’t work today but on the other hand, some things still do.  What you have to do is figure out which things still work and what no longer does.

A good way to get a since of what is working today is to join a forum like the Warrior Forum.  There you can ask questions and get a consensus from people all over the world as to what is still working on the Internet.

While you can’t give away a product owner’s method of making money publically, you can ask about a general method and if it is still viable.  You might ask if article marketing still works.  People will go back and forth on the topic but what I would look for is comments by experienced warriors that have been around that forum for a long time and may have even launched a WSO on that topic in the past.  They won’t lead you astray because their reputation is on the line.

Before you keep buying more and more products that will just sit on your hard drive gathering virtual dust, take a look at what you already have.  You just might find a nugget or two that will get you started making money online after all…
