I was inspired by a colleague that was just knocked down in a fight with PayPal.  They froze his account because they fear make money online offers; sighting that they are high risk.  He had just had major success with a Warrior Forum WSO (Warrior Special Offer) 6 figure launch.  Now that might not sound like much money when you consider big multi 7 figure launches by the gurus but you have to consider that the guru products usually cost $2,000.  My colleague did this monster launch with a product that only costs $17.  I thought about this video for him and anyone else that is in a knock down drag out fight with the things that happen in life.  Watch it and get inspired!

Another product was released last week on Clickbank that was shocking!  I know what you are saying, “no, Clickbank, shocking?”  Yes but it really isn’t the product that is shocking this time, it is the tactics that they used for the Quick Click Commissions launch.

This product is about using completely free traffic from Facebook to sell products as an affiliate of sites like Amazon, Clickbank, etc.  They also use a video with a pretty girl in it named Jessica to sell the product.  That really isn’t all that unusual if you have been following Clickbank launches for any length of time.  I mean you see lots of pretty girls used to sell things these days.

What I think is so unusual about this sales video and sales tactic is that you get multiple up skirt shots of Jessica if you watch the video all the way through.  Wow, I just couldn’t believe it!  They actually let her wear a dress so short that you fixate on it.  As a man you keep wondering if you are going to get that shot like in the movie Fatal Attraction.  Now it’s not quite as graphic as the movie but I was shocked.

Why am I talking about this?  The reason is because when you are a newbie you can’t seem to focus and that is the very thing that is killing you!  What I hope to do in this post is to make you see that you probably already have what you need in order to make money online.

The Internet moves quickly and a lot of things that worked a year ago wouldn’t work today but on the other hand, some things still do.  What you have to do is figure out which things still work and what no longer does.

A good way to get a since of what is working today is to join a forum like the Warrior Forum.  There you can ask questions and get a consensus from people all over the world as to what is still working on the Internet.

While you can’t give away a product owner’s method of making money publically, you can ask about a general method and if it is still viable.  You might ask if article marketing still works.  People will go back and forth on the topic but what I would look for is comments by experienced warriors that have been around that forum for a long time and may have even launched a WSO on that topic in the past.  They won’t lead you astray because their reputation is on the line.

Before you keep buying more and more products that will just sit on your hard drive gathering virtual dust, take a look at what you already have.  You just might find a nugget or two that will get you started making money online after all…

I was going through the Warrior Forum the other day and a woman asked a question about paid vs. free traffic.  She couldn’t understand why anyone would pay for traffic when they could get it for free from the search engines.

First of all, you should never depend on any one source of traffic.  That type of thinking can put you out of business very quickly.

Second, free organic traffic is great but you are at the continued mercy of the search engine algorithms every time they make changes.  We all know what they call that when it comes to our friends at Google, SLAP!

While I like free traffic I have to go with paid traffic.  Why?  It is more predictable and you can easily scale it up to almost as big as you want.  The reason is that there are so many different paid traffic sources out there vs. there only being one source of organic traffic.

You can use paid sources like PPC, PPV, solo email ads, banners, co-registration, domain redirects, etc. and that is just to name a few.

To prove what I’m saying is true I’ll give you a really fast traffic method right now.  Go to Google and search “expired domain traffic.”  You will get a list of companies that you can pay to send you hundreds of thousands of real visitors from a specific country or from all over the world starting today at very reasonable prices.  Just be sure to remember that I gave you this tip for crying out loud.  LOL!

So the question that I asked in the beginning of this post as to if traffic is really that hard to get?  The answer is no.  You just need to find the right traffic source for what you are trying to do and always make sure that whatever you pick is the right type of traffic for your offer and for the overall growth of your business.

It is very important that you really understand what I am trying to say here.  If you are around people that don’t believe in your dreams, get the hell away from those people!  Those types of people will drain your spirit and will to accomplish your goals.

I’m not saying to eliminate those people from your life.  I’m saying to limit your exposure to their type of thinking.  You probably heard people like Frank Kern talk about how they don’t watch the news because of its perpetuation of mostly negative happenings and thoughts.  Well the same holds true if you are around people that believe those negative thoughts and feelings of lack.

Empathizing with feelings of lack is one of the most damaging things that you could ever do to your chances of success.  Why?  Because the mind can only achieve what it believes it can and that works both ways.  If you also think that you can’t achieve something then you can’t according to that same rule.

You need to surround yourself with the right types of people in order to see success.  People that are positive and optimistic about what they are doing will encourage you, even if it is unspoken.

The key to all of this is to seek out people that are incredibly motivated and already have success or that won’t quit until they find success.  Then you will be around the right people for cash flow.

This place has been around for years but in the recession that we’re in it has now taken off like a rocket!  Affiliates love it because it is much easier to sell products and services there because the traffic is internal, unlike Clickbank.

So what is this new Internet Marketing Mecca?  It is the Warrior Forum…

The Warrior Forum is a place where people go to learn the ins and outs of Internet Marketing.  But what is more incredible is that it has a section called the warriors special offers section or WSO for short.  This is where any forum member can pay a small fee to post their product for sale.

If you’ve heard it once you’ve heard it a thousand times; “The money is in the list.”  But what if you don’t yet have a list?  How are you going to get at the money that is in it?

First of all the money is in the relationship that you have with the list.  You could have the biggest list around but if they don’t like you they will either unsubscribe or ignore you all together.

The best list building tip that I can give you is to give it away.  What I mean is the money!  That’s right, the money!  Let me explain…

One of the fastest and best ways to get a great responsive list is to get it from someone else that has a great relationship with them already.  This is actually easier than it sounds.

What you need to do is create something like an ebook or a product and allow a list owner to sell it to their list.  The secret is that you let the list owner keep 100% of the money and you get the buyers list.

A buyers list is so much more important than a prospect list because you know that every one of those people are action takers and will spend money online for something that they want.  Most will tell you that a buyer is 15 times more likely to spend money than an interested prospect.

It doesn’t end there.  Now that you have a buyers list you must cultivate your relationship with the people on that list.  Let them get to know you by providing good content, not just sales pitch after sales pitch.

Now rinse and repeat this process over and over again because people will opt out of your list no matter how good you are.  That is just how people are.  Always keep building for that reason.  The trick is to get more people joining your list than leaving your list, and that just goes back to what I was saying about being good at connecting with people so that they know like and trust you.

A lot of people would really like to have their own app built but it can really cost you a bundle depending on what you are looking for.

When you think of apps most people think about something like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja and other game oriented apps that get a lot of publicity.  The truth is that there are a lot of other types of apps out there than just games.

It is believed that one day apps will replace web browsers as the way that we will access the Internet and communicate online.  You are already seeing this now with all of the mobile apps that connect to social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

There are more life lessons in that video than I can count but one hit me the hardest overall.  Do the absolute best in life with what you have been given and you can’t help but to succeed…

In other niches like knitting, basket weaving, etc., it takes a bit more time to become saturated and the prospects won’t usually see the onslaught of every marketer blasting their email boxes with tons of emails.  So outside of IM webinars are still working as well as ever.

On the other hand, some of my fellow marketers have seen a slight drop in webinar attendance in recent months.  This is probably because people have caught on that there will be a pitch at the end of the webinar for a product or service.

Having a pitch at the end of your webinar isn’t a bad thing (after all we do have to make a living) you just have to make sure that the content that is on the webinar is extremely solid.  People that attend need to really learn something that they can use because if you give them something great for free they will be more inclined to buy something from you now or later.

One good thing to do is to give away something of real value on live webinars in order to boost your live attendance.  Live attendance is beginning to drop because people feel that they can just catch the replay.  Replays are great but nothing beats the excitement of something live!

So the death of webinars might be a bit premature but if we don’t continue to learn and improve as marketers, we might see the death of our profits…
