Free Screen Capture Tool

If you are looking for a free screen capture tool, than look no further.

NiceKit.com probably has the best free screen capture tool that I have ever used, and I’ve used quite a few.

Below is a quick screenshot of the Nice Kit website.  They do have a pro version but the free one that I have outlined in red works exceptionally well.

Snap A Shot - Free Screen Capture Tool

What I like most about this free screen capture tool is that it is great for creating static (non-moving) banners.  If you have ever tried to use complicated graphics programs it can be frustrating to say the least…

With the “Snap A Shot” software it is very easy to make static banners because it has a measurement tool at the bottom that tells you the width and height of the screenshot that you are about to take.

If you are not good at designing banners using graphics programs, you could always just design text banners within Microsoft Word or equivalent and take a precise screen shot of it.  You’re done with no muss, no fuss!

So here is a link to the NiceKit.com website where you can download the best free screen capture tool that I have ever used.

Free Keyword Research Tool

I speak with a lot of people that want to know what the best free keyword research tool out there is?

Right up there at the top of the list is SEM Rush, which is pictured below.

SEMRush.com Picture

At SEMRush.com you can enter a domain name, keyword or URL and it will give you more data than most people know what to do with.

I like using this free keyword research tool to check out competitors in my various niches and SEM Rush is great for this task.  You can put in a competitors domain name and find out what keywords that they are ranking for.

I’ve had people ask me why I would want to know that information.  The reason is that if a company has taken the time to rank for certain keywords in a particular niche for the organic search results, those are probably profitable keywords.

You see, most people have difficulty figuring out what keywords are buyer keywords.  It is very important to target buyer keywords because you don’t want to spend time and money targeting keywords that will only bring you tire kickers that only want to browse.  You want people to come to your site that are looking to buy.

So the free keyword research tool that I like best right now is SEM Rush.  They have a paid pro version but the free version works well enough for most people.

Do you like SEM Rush or do you prefer another free keyword research tool?  Leave a comment and let everyone know your preference.

WordPress Software – Is It A Gift?

If you don’t know anything about blog software you need to know about WordPress.  It is a blogging software platform that is open source.  Open source just means that it is open to program developers to add to and change the software.

It is the software that I am using to run this blog.  I use it because it is simply the easiest and most powerful website building application around.  You literally don’t have to know anything about HTML or how to build websites in order to use it.

When it first came out you use to have to install it manually but now most hosting companies have cPanel and Fantastico.  Fantastico will install WordPress for you in less than 60 seconds.  Absolutely anyone can do it.

The beauty of this free software is that it is so versatile.  You can have your blog look a certain way 1 minute and completely change the look and feel the next by just changing the theme in the login area.  It’s a snap!

People have asked me what I would do about building a website if I were starting all over again and didn’t know anything about building websites.  I would begin with WordPress because you can make it look just like a regular website with the tools that are available, though some of those tools are not free.

What do you think about this incredible software?  Have you used it?  Leave a comment and let me know what your experience is.

Free Internet Marketing Software

I have some software that took months to develop and cost thousands of dollars.  This free internet marketing software will help anyone that is dedicated to using it to market more effectively online.

You will be able to use it to submit articles, videos and press releases at the touch of a button.  It also has a feature that will allow you to make changes to your submissions even after your content has been submitted.

The final touches are being put on the software right now but when it is done I’ll write a post about it here so that everyone can get their hands on it for free!

Not only will I be giving you this software but I will also teach you how to use it to make money online.  That is probably the most exciting part about the whole thing.

So keep coming back to this blog on a regular basis and I’ll let you know when the free internet marketing software is ready.

By the way, I’m still trying to figure out a name for the software.  If you have any thoughts, be sure to leave them in the comments.

Is It Still Possible To Market Online Without Software?

As the title of this post poses the question, “Is it still possible to market online without software?”  The answer is yes but it is a whole lot more difficult.

There are so many automation tools out there today that it is hard to figure out which one is right for you.  I would have to say the best course of action would be to ask yourself a few questions.

  • Does it really work?
  • Would it significantly reduce my online tasks?
  • Would it give me more free time?
  • How difficult is the tool to use?
  • How long will it take to pay for itself?
  • Does it have a money back guarantee?
  • Etc…

You need to ask even more questions than that but you can start there.

But wait, do you really need automation tools, like I said earlier, “no”.  It all depends on what you want to achieve online.  If you just want to get your feet wet and test the waters than do so without software.  That is the best way to get a good grasp of how everything works.  You can always get into automation when you get a good understanding of how things work.

Once you know what you are doing for the most part you can ease into automation and really take your online marketing to another level.

So if you feel that you have arrived at the point where you want to use automation than do so, but do so with responsible caution.  Some of the tools out there make outrageous claims and cost a bundle.  I just have to say “be careful” and I’ll leave it at that.

What do you think about marketing online without software?  I’d love to know what you think so leave a comment…
