Helpful Firefox Add-on for Marketers

The other day I found a great Firefox add-on for marketers.  It is called Shooter and you can download it at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/shooter/

This add-on is very cool and useful because it not only takes screenshots of your computer screen, it can scroll down while doing it.

An example of what I am talking about is when you want to take a screenshot of something on a website but you have to take multiple pictures because everything can’t fit on the screen at once.  Well this add-on will allow you to scroll down as far as you like.  This means that if you want to save a copy of something like a long sales page as one big long picture, you can!

This add-on is great for saving marketing sales copy so that you can analyze it later.  I remember when I used to take a ton of screenshots so that I could dissect a particular copywriter’s writing style so that I could create something similar for one of my own products.  It was a pain to do but now with Shooter it’s a breeze…

Another great use is for launching a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) on the Warrior Forum.  When you launch a WSO you can’t use more than 10 pictures, but with the help of Shooter you can use as many as you want.  You would just need to put a few breaks in the pictures to accommodate the “buy now” buttons in a few places.

This helpful Firefox add-on is really great for marketers and I’m glad that I could tell you about it.
