Automatic Google Chrome Translator

Recently I have been having fun with the automatic Google Chrome Translator that is built into the web browser.

When the Google Chrome Translator recognizes that something is in a different language than the native language that you usually use, it will automatically ask you if you want it to translate.

See an example of the Google Chrome Translator in action below.

After

As you see in the before picture the words are in Japanese.  When the Google Chrome Translator feature in the browser detected the difference in language, it automatically offered me the option of translation at the top of the screen.  All you have to do then is click the “Translate” button and you’re done.

In the after picture you can see that the text has been translated into English from Japanese.  It’s quick and push button easy…

With the Google Chrome Translator you can now communicate with people around the world without having to learn a foreign language.  I think that’s pretty cool…

Free Split Testing Trick

If you are already or are planning to market online you need to do some split testing in order to know what works.

Split testing is a necessary evil?  Yes it is.  It is boring and time consuming but it can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful website and/or business.

When you are split testing you are really just tweaking your content to get the very best response from the targeted audience that will see it.  If your goal is to go get opt-ins, then you want as many as possible.  If it is to get people to buy something, then it is to get as many buyers as you can.

Your split testing can be anything on a website.  It can be the headline, the sub-headline, graphics, colors, people happy, sad people, etc.  You want to find the very best and highest converting webpage possible.

I have a free split testing trick for you today that will save you tons of time and maybe even some lost customers.  It is called The Wayback Machine and the latest version is pictured below.

Wayback Maching Picture

This is a website that has literally archived billions of pages on the web.  So all you have to do is input the domain names of the competitors in your niche and check out the changes that they’ve made over the years.

If you haven’t already figured it out, this will greatly cut down on the amount of split testing that you will need to do because you will be able to see what they have tried in the past so you won’t have too.

Go check out The Wayback Machine and add this free tool to your bag of Internet Marketing tricks…

Just A Bit Off?

Watch the video below by Tony Robbins and I’ll tell you how it relates to Internet Marketing when you’re done.

In Internet Marketing there are a lot of us that are just a bit off from our goals in the beginning.  This tiny bit will decide whether you are a success or failure.

The people that are a success will tell you that they had absolute certainty that they would succeed because they weren’t about to settle for anything less.

People that fail will get frustrated by something along their journey to success and let that obstacle prevent them from ever getting there.

If you want to become a successful Internet Marketer you will have to give it everything you’ve got and then give just a little bit more.  That little bit more is the difference between success and failure and only those that put forth the extra effort will ever see it…

Offline Facebook?

I know the title is a little bit odd.  What I mean on an Internet Marketing (IM) blog like this one is that there is quite a lot of opportunity out there to help small businesses using Facebook.

I’m sure that if you have been into the IM niche for very long at all you will know that there is tons of money to be made utilizing the Facebook social media platform due to its’ built in viral “Like” component.

Liking something on Facebook is extremely powerful.  When one person hits that button every one of their friends will see it and most people that hang out together have similar interests, which lead to even more likes.

The very lucrative offline component that comes into play here is that there are a ton of local businesses out there that would like to get some of those likes.  Those local likes can turn into money for offline businesses; especially in this tough economy.

What you need to do is approach local businesses (hint: Go through Facebook) and offer to create Facebook Fan Pages for them.  Most local business owners would love to have this service if it is offered by a reputable person or company.

The way that you become reputable is by showing results in advance.  Right now Google ranks Facebook Fan Pages (now called just “Pages”) very highly in their search results.  I’ve seen pages that rank within the top 3 without any backlinking or optimization whatsoever!

So the best thing to do is to create one for a pretend niche market, get it ranked highly within Google and then start prospecting to local businesses within that market.  You can contact the businesses in person, by email or the best way, FACEBOOK!

You can charge whatever you think is fair and at the same time valuable to that specific business.  Most in this industry charge anywhere from $500 to $5,000, it just depends on what type of establishment it is and how much each customer is worth to them.

Above all be fair because creating their Facebook Page is just the beginning.  If you do a good job they will come to you for other online services.  Remember, it is much easier to make more from an existing customer than it is to acquire a brand new one.

Lastly, this method is not just a one and done kind of thing.  There is residual income to be had here.  You can also charge a maintenance fee of anywhere from $50 to $500 to maintain their Google rankings.  It’s easy to do by just optimizing the page with targeted keywords and a light amount of backlinking.  Trust me that easy money adds up fast when you have 20 to 30 clients under contract.
