If you are looking for a free screen capture tool, than look no further.

NiceKit.com probably has the best free screen capture tool that I have ever used, and I’ve used quite a few.

Below is a quick screenshot of the Nice Kit website.  They do have a pro version but the free one that I have outlined in red works exceptionally well.

What I like most about this free screen capture tool is that it is great for creating static (non-moving) banners.  If you have ever tried to use complicated graphics programs it can be frustrating to say the least…

With the “Snap A Shot” software it is very easy to make static banners because it has a measurement tool at the bottom that tells you the width and height of the screenshot that you are about to take.

If you are not good at designing banners using graphics programs, you could always just design text banners within Microsoft Word or equivalent and take a precise screen shot of it.  You’re done with no muss, no fuss!
