Why The Word “No” Is Beautiful?

Most people hear the word “no” and it really makes them upset; especially in business.  When I hear the word “no” I think it is great because I know that I’m one step closer to the word “yes” and that feels great!

Here is a simple method that I use to take the power out of the word “no.”

Imagine that there is a certain number of no’s that you have to here in order to get the best reward that you could ever dream of.  In your mind, be absolutely sure that the reward is coming.

Now all you have to do is get through all of those no’s to reach that one simple “yes” and that special reward is yours.  The hardest thing about this process is that you don’t know how many no’s that you will have to endure before you get that one “yes.”

Make a game out of it!  If you have co-workers, let them in on it or if you work for yourself tell someone that believes in you about your game.  The game is: How many no’s can I get today!

I know that it sounds a little odd but once you desensitize yourself to the word “no” you’ll also be desensitizing yourself to the negative feelings that go along with it.  The next thing you know you’ll be breezing through all of those no’s without any residual negative feelings and yes’s will be plentiful…

List Building Trick

Today I’m going to go over a little list building trick that I learned a bit ago.  I wish that I would have implemented it when I first started out but hindsight is always 20/20.

The first thing that you need to do for this list building trick to work is a good 10 to 20 page PDF report filled with some good information on a topic within your niche.

Next you will need a way to give it away but this might be difficult if you don’t already have a list to send it to, which is the whole reason that you want to learn about this list building trick.

What you need is a joint venture (JV) partner that does have a list and is willing to send an email blast out for you.  But why would someone with a list send out your report to his/her list?  Ah-ha, therein lies the list building trick!

You want to give the JV an incentive to mail for you but if you are just starting out and don’t already have statistics on a great converting product they probably won’t.

The list building trick is this: Make an agreement with the JV that he/she will get 100% of the product sales and price it at about $7.  $7 products generally sell very well and that will take care of the incentive part of why the JV will mail for you.

So if you haven’t figured it out by now the list building trick is that the JV will get all of the money and you will get all of the opt-ins.  These opt-ins are far more valuable than leads because they are all buyers!

A list building trick like this is worth its weight in gold because everyone knows that it is much easier to market to customers that have already bought from you than to a lead that just opted-in to get something for free.

Your next question is probably about how to find potential JV partners in your niche in order to get started implementing this list building trick?

It’s easier than you think!  Just go to Blogs.com/TopTen and you will find tons of them.  Send them an email with your proposal and make some new connections.  Remember, with this list building trick it is about volume; so don’t get discouraged if you get rejections or no response at all.  With this method it is a numbers game.

The Thirty Seven Dollar Rash?

I know, I know, the thirty seven dollar rash?  Sounds gross I know but that is what I think about all of the $37.00 products that have just exploded on Clickbank lately.

Have you seen them?  They all have the same setup; big red headline up top, video to the left below and the $37.00 buy now button to the right of the video.

They also have the exit pops from hell!  You try to click out of these things and you just get caught in a maze.  Now that most of these guys can no longer use Google Adwords, they have increased the exit pop epidemic.

I really feel bad for people that are being taken in by all of these types of products.  They use top level copywriters that could make people buy ice cubes in Alaska in the winter time.  It’s bad enough that these copywriters could convince people to buy $2,000 products in droves but now they are being used on products that are only $37.00.  Who could resist with such a low barrier of entry right?

The moral of this story is don’t be taken in by these snake oil salesmen.  If they are really making the hundreds of thousands of dollars per month with only 13 clicks of their computer mouse, they wouldn’t be selling it to you.

New Product Launch Process

I know that most of you visiting this blog know about product launches but do you know about the new product launch process?

The new product launch process utilizes rolling webinars as an evergreen model; as opposed to the normal limited time launch and shut down.

Some of you might remember the previous post that I wrote about webinar hell.  There is a very good reason for the new product launch process that includes webinars aside from the surface money that they bring in.

Yeah they can easily bring in $50,000, $100,000 and I even know a couple of really big time marketers that have brought in $1,000,000 using webinars.  The best thing about the new product launch process webinars is that they are evergreen and don’t have a conventional product launch.

Did you hear that?  No actual product launch!

What each product owner does is work the circuit so to speak.  They go from JV Partner to JV Partner and put on private webinars.  The products usually costs anywhere from $497 to $1997 (even $5,000 in some extreme cases) and the product owner splits the sales with the JV Partner 50/50.

Now you can see why the new product launch process model is so lucrative.  There is just an unlimited amount of JV Partners that have big lists in different niches.  The product owner can keep selling the same product privately for years…
