What Does Internet Marketing Mean To You?

I was thinking yesterday about what Internet Marketing means to me and decided to make it into today’s post.

Online marketing is all about lifestyle and freedom of choice.  What I mean is that you can live paycheck to paycheck on a 9 to 5 job and in most cases it will keep you just over broke.

On the other hand if you have it in you to strive for a better life you can seek an online income that will eclipse that of a regular job in a matter of months if you do it right.

What you have to remember is to never take your eyes off of the prize.  This type of marketing has the potential to completely change your life.  It can have you relaxing on a beach or hitting the slopes anywhere in the world that you want to go, all the while still making money on autopilot.

The Internet Marketing lifestyle is the Holy Grail way of making money.  The hardest thing is not to quit!  What often happens more times than not is that people give up or become unfocused and that is the kiss of death to what might have been an excellent career online.

I heard a speech by Brian Tracy where he talked about getting in line and staying in line.  That just simply means that just like a buffet line, if you get in line and stay in line, you will get to the front where the good stuff is.  That is just like life, if you get in line and stay in line, you will get the rewards that life has to offer.

The problem is that most people get out of line or constantly jump in and out of line and all that does is make you keep having to start over again.  So get your butt in line and stay in line because just like in the buffet analogy, the only person that is going to make you get out of line is you.

I hope this post helped you.  So let me know what you think in the form of a comment.

Is It Still Possible To Market Online Without Software?

As the title of this post poses the question, “Is it still possible to market online without software?”  The answer is yes but it is a whole lot more difficult.

There are so many automation tools out there today that it is hard to figure out which one is right for you.  I would have to say the best course of action would be to ask yourself a few questions.

  • Does it really work?
  • Would it significantly reduce my online tasks?
  • Would it give me more free time?
  • How difficult is the tool to use?
  • How long will it take to pay for itself?
  • Does it have a money back guarantee?
  • Etc…

You need to ask even more questions than that but you can start there.

But wait, do you really need automation tools, like I said earlier, “no”.  It all depends on what you want to achieve online.  If you just want to get your feet wet and test the waters than do so without software.  That is the best way to get a good grasp of how everything works.  You can always get into automation when you get a good understanding of how things work.

Once you know what you are doing for the most part you can ease into automation and really take your online marketing to another level.

So if you feel that you have arrived at the point where you want to use automation than do so, but do so with responsible caution.  Some of the tools out there make outrageous claims and cost a bundle.  I just have to say “be careful” and I’ll leave it at that.

What do you think about marketing online without software?  I’d love to know what you think so leave a comment…

Small Business Can Change The World?

Small business can change the world because when they do well and prosper they hire more employees.  It would shock you to find out just how big this is.

Here in the US alone there are well over 25 million small businesses and most of them haven’t a clue of how to market online.  Many of them have been taken advantage of by online companies that provide online services but not the right kind of online services.  They end up getting a brochure looking website that doesn’t bring in any business.

What they need is an online presence that brings in business.  If they get more people and prospects calling them for business, then they would have to hire more people.  Let’s just say 20% of those 25 million plus businesses (5 million small businesses) each only hired just 1 more person.  That would be 5 million new jobs!  Now can you see how this would change the world?

Approximately 1 out of every 38 online marketers concentrate their efforts on helping small businesses succeed online.  If more of us decided to help small businesses we could contribute to getting the economy back on track and out of recession.  As you probably know already, when the US economy goes up the rest of the world will follow.

So if you are an online marketer, consider helping the small business person succeed and together we can change the world.

I’m very interested in hearing what you have to say, so leave me a comment…

Internet Marketing – The Importance of Automation

The importance of automation in Internet Marketing should be a primary focus if you are looking to be a huge success in this field.

As everyone knows, it’s better to get 1% of 100 people than 100% of yourself.  So when you begin, if you haven’t already, you always need to keep this in mind and don’t forget it.

Initially when you start making money online you do it with the intention of building a long-term business.  That will involve reinvesting most of your earnings back into the business to the point where you won’t see any of the money in the beginning.

As you build your business gradually, over time you will be able to use more and more of the money for yourself.  At the moment it escapes me but one of the big online marketers once said that you must celebrate each time you make money because it encourages the subconscious to repeat that action again so that it can get another reward.  I agree with this practice and recommend you try it for yourself.  In my opinion it really works!

Now once you are making money you can then afford to outsource and this is where the real money begins to roll in!  This is where you become 100 people instead of just 1.  Outsourcing is very powerful and can make you a fortune very quickly if you scale it correctly.

So always keep the importance of automation in the back of your mind in the beginning and when you are ready, let it skyrocket you to success…

Cost-Per-View or CPV

Cost-Per-View or CPV is a type of website traffic known as contextual advertising.  You might also hear CPV called Pay-Per-View or PPV.  In short it is adware traffic.

Don’t let the word “adware” scare you.  Adware is not malicious like spyware or a virus.  It is simply a program that is placed onto your computer (with your permission only) through a program that you downloaded (usually for free) to your computer.  The software is usually a game or a tool like free virus protection.

As I said earlier, don’t let this scare you.  Adware lets you know when you install it that you agree to their advertisements in exchange for the software.  Then advertisers (just like the people that advertise in Google) place their ads in front of you when you go to particular websites or search on search engines.

At the current time, this traffic is way more inexpensive than Google Adwords at the moment and is a part of the 80% of website traffic out there that Google doesn’t control.  So you see there is a wealth of untapped traffic still out there for the taking.  You just have to investigate and go out there and get it!

What do you think?  Was this information helpful?  Feel free to let me know what you think by leaving a comment.
